These wraps have been a life saver for something quick, easy and delicious!  Let’s face it we are all busy in our own way.  Sometimes we just don’t have the time to whip up a meal or we are struggling for snacks.  Doing these quick wraps are a great snack idea or dinner. For dinner just add to the meal with a big mixed greens salad or side of quinoa.

The wraps I use are Live Raw wraps!  They are gluten free, organic and vegan so they are good for anyone to use.  I avoid wheat as much as possible so these do the trick for me.  The ingredients are simple and easy to throw together

This is the ingredients for the Turmeric wrap that I love: Yellow peppers*, flax*, zucchini*, onions*, carrots*, olive oil*, lemon juice*, turmeric powder*, fine grey salt, cumin*.  The total carbs are 9 gms, 7 of which come from fiber.  I personally would prefer to get my carbs from fruit, tubers or other healthier grains instead of wheat or corn.

Remember these wraps are meant to be raw and remain that way to get the full nutritional benefit from them.  They shouldn’t be heated.

The first wrap is not vegan but good for those who do like to eat animal protein.

  1.  LIVE Turmeric raw wrap
  2. avocado (use this like mayo and spread in the middle of the wrap)
  3.  Organic chicken breast
  4.  Organic broccoli micro greens
  5.  Organic cilantro
  6.   Daiya caesar dressing
  7.   Sriracha

You can add so many other things to it but kept it simple and it was plenty tasty!

This wrap is vegan and honestly my favorite!

  1. LIVE Turmeric raw wrap (you can use anyone of their many yummie wraps)
  2.  avocado spread (just plain old avocado!)
  3. 1 Organic baby cucumber sliced in quarters
  4.  Organic broccoli micro greens
  5.   Organic arugula
  6.  Homemade pickled onion (this added amazing flavor, recipe will follow)
  7.  Daiya Cheese shreds

I found this combo of textures and flavors so good!  I was 100% satisfied with this as a snack without any animal protein.

The next one is a not vegan either but great for those who prefer not to eat chicken or beef but do eat fish.

  1.  LIVE Turmeric raw wrap (their spinach wrap would be amazing as well)
  2. Avocado spread
  3.  Wild caught haddock
  4. Organic broccoli micro greens
  5.   Organic cilantro
  6.   Homemade pickled onions

This was light and satisfying.  Great for dinner with any added sides!  You could even add a mango salsa to this which I have done and it was very good!  Keep reading and you will get the recipe for that as well.

Feeding your body with the right foods is essential to your health.  This includes your mental and spiritual health.  Yes that is what I said!  You truly are what you eat.  What you eat will either trigger good or bad in the body.  The sad part is that 90% of people are so not in-tune with their bodies they don’t realize or feel the symptoms telling them they need to get it together.

Symptoms your body tells you daily that you need to make changes in your eating habits:

• headaches
• nausea
• constipation
• diarrhea
• belly bloat
• painful gas
• frequent belching
• joint and muscle aches
• muscle tension
• soreness or cramps
• itching
• acne
• warts or other skin
• inability to concentrate
• foggy brain
• irritability
• depression
• mood swings
• cardiovascular
• weight gain or loss
• insomnia
• fatigue
• lethargy
• flu-like symptoms
• allergic reactions
including hives,
stuffy or runny nose,
sneezing, and coughing

Right?! We get so use to feeling terrible we don’t even notice our health is declining.  In my 6 Week Reset:  The Sugar Craving Cure, we get you on a cleanse. No you don’t stop eating! You just avoid certain foods and start becoming more in-tune with your body!

Life is too short to treat your body like you can go buy a new one!  You get one life and one body!  Balance is key!  Enjoy things you love but start loving the things you think you can’t!  Healthy food doesn’t have to be boring or bland!

If you want to start creating more energy, stop craving sugar, lose belly fat and ensure longevity, message me  Let’s get you started!

Pickled onions:

  • 1 – 2 small red onions sliced
  • Rice vinegar
  • Pink sea salt

In a large jar or glass container,  cover onions with the rice vinegar added some pink sea salt.  Cover with lid and let sit for 12 to 24 hours.  Depends on how pickled you like it.  I did mine for about 18 hours and it was just right.  I then used the vinegar to make a salad dressing so not to waste it.  The onion flavor was amazing with olive oil!

Mango Salsa:

  • 1 mango, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup peeled, diced cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped jalapeno (optional)
  • 1/3 cup diced red onion
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/3 cup roughly chopped cilantro leaves
  • Salt and pepper

  1. Combine the mango, cucumber, jalapeno, red onion, lime juice and cilantro leaves and mix well. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

Live Well!
